This dude Le$ continues to impress me. Being a Boss Hogg representative it's hard for him to get away from the Southern influence, which is by no means a bad thing. His last couple of tapes have had numerous samples from Southern Classics such as "Heart of a Hustler", "Swang", "From Da South", "Wanna be a Baller", several Three 6 Mafia songs and even going as far as having a sample from Santana's "Black Magic Woman". So if you don't know who this dude is, I suggest you get on your job because this guy isn't going anywhere but up with Slim Thugga & crew.

Big K.R.I.T. "Live From The Underground" Tour Chapter #1 [Video]
What an awesome show this was. I had the chance to go the second date of this tour in Cincinnati, OH. Hands down one of the best performers I have ever seen (I haven't seen many). However, just having the chance to see someone perform records that you listen to on the daily and have that much energy is awesome. If K.R.I.T. is stopping anywhere near you I suggest you do yourself a favor and go check out this show. Tito Lopez, Jon Conner and Casey Veggies were also at the show, and did not disappoint.

Pimpin' Ain't Easy
Where do I start! This is not easy; well it is but it isn't. It's a non-stop job to run a music blog. You have to know the artists to follow, you have to keep up with the hundreds of singles that come out every week, tons of music videos. I feel obliged to follow certain local artists that have been around for a while, even up and coming artists that are trying to get their sound out. Main reason I haven't been blogging is because I don't really have any help and I work 30 hours a week delivering pizza. Recently my homey DJ dot COM hooked me up with a gig on Thursdays at Club Forte which is here in Lexington, KY. Don't get me wrong it is a sweet gig, I just wish I had some actual DJ skills as opposed to using Virtual DJ to mix tracks together (which I'm not great at either). I really look up to DJ WarrenPeace, DJ Always and DJ Kym (the stoop DJ crew) those guys are really versatile and between the 3 of them they could make any club jump. Without further a do I will attempt to keep up with this blog as much as possible.
